How a publication designs its community outreach completely shapes the impact it has on its viewership. Effectively utilizing different media to provide relevant and engaging content to an audience is essential because of the ease and accessibility of information from other news sources.
Through my work with Pantherbook, I have learned the value of being multi-dimensional and intentional in how I choose what types of stories use which media channels. My involvement with the publication's look, feel and tone has been driven by my understanding of how an audience is influenced by what they see, hear, and read. I have learned it's not just about words, images, and sound, but how these all come together to tell the story.
